(Atlantic) The Southwest Iowa Planning Council welcomes a new Communications Coordinator to their staff.
SWIPCO Executive Director John McCurdy says Mindy Jensen will work to increase awareness of public transit services to better connect the people of the Southwest Iowa region to employment, school, and where ever they need to go.
McCurdy says Jensen has a solid background in communications and social work.
McCurdy says SWIPCO has two separate audiences.
Jensen graduated from Atlantic High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in Intercultural Communications from Dana College. She has many years of experience working with the public and setting up services for community members through her role as a community-based case manager. She is also an accomplished photographer.
