(Blairstown, IA) — The Benton Community School District Superintendent says a bus carrying nine students collided with an S-U-V on a gravel road northeast of Blairstown Wednesday. The kids on the bus ranged from preschoolers to high school and went home after an early dismissal. K-C-R-G reports the bus went into a ditch and rolled over. Three3 students were taken to a hospital via ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries. The bus driver and driver of the S-U-V were also taken to the hospital. The other children were checked on the scene and released to their parents.
