(Council Bluffs) The Council Bluffs Police Department is investigating a suspicious death.
The Police Department says at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, the Pottawattamie County Communications Center received a call from an individual traveling by boat going north on the Missouri River stating that he had observed a dead body floating in the river. Council Bluffs Police and Fire Departments arrived in the area and were able to locate and bring the body to shore.
Council Bluffs Forensic personnel were able to identify the subject using fingerprints as Anthony Anderson, a 30 year old male from Council Bluffs. Due to this being an on-going investigation, no further information will be released other than it is being investigated as a suspicious death.
