(Council Bluffs) The Council Bluffs Police Department says the Pottawattamie/Council Bluffs bomb disposal unit was called to Planet Fitness (1441 Mall Dr. Suite 500) in reference to a suspicious device found at that location. Planet Fitness was temporarily shut down while the bomb squad removed the item from the premises. There are no indications that the item was intended to disrupt the normal business operations of Planet Fitness or the public. The person suspected of possessing the device has been arrested. Due to this being an ongoing investigation, not further information will be released at this time.
