(Leon) Atlantic/CAM Head Wrestling Coach Tim Duff says the State Tournament series for the Trojans starts on Saturday Sectionals at Central Decatur High School.
Central Decatur, Clarinda, Clarke, Creston, Shenandoah, and Atlantic/CAM are the six teams competing in this sectional. Coach Duff says these are all teams the Trojans have competed against during the regular season.
The top two finishers in each weight class advance to the district tournament in Glenwood on February 12.
The meet starts at noon. We will have the broadcast on 95.7 FM and westerniowatoday.com. The coverage begins at 11:50 a.m.
The top two finishers from this sectional will match up against the top two finishers from the sectional tournament at Harlan. The teams competing at Harlan include; Carroll, Glenwood, Greene County, Harlan, Red Oak, and Southwest Iowa.
The top two teams in each sectional will compete in the Regional Duals on Tuesday night.
