(Hancock) Road work is underway on Highway 59 northeast of Hancock after the pavement buckled.
According to 511, maintenance crews are repairing the roadway on Highway 59 between County Road G30 and Iowa 83, about one mile north of the Hancock area.
Motorists traveling through the work zone should expect temporary traffic signals controlling traffic while repairs are completed. Drivers are urged to slow down, watch for workers and equipment, and allow extra travel time if necessary.
