(Lincoln, NE) — Nebraska football has gotten a commitment from a major recruit — 4 star Khalil Taylor from just outside Pittsburgh, PA has made a verbal commitment to play for the Huskers beginning in 2027.
247 Sports ranks Taylor as the 84th best recruit in the country for the recruiting class of 2027 — Taylor chose the Big Red over Penn St. and Colorado.
At Pine Richland High in Gisbona, PA, Taylor has played wide receiver, running back, defensive back, has return kicks and punts and has also been the team’s punter. For his last two high school seasons, Taylor has 84 receptions total for 1,503 yards and 38 TDs. He has also added three scores in the return game. On defense, he has four pass deflections, 3 INTs, and a sack.
