(Afton) A Union County teenager suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened at around 7:24 p.m. on Wednesday in Afton. Authorities say a private vehicle transported 16-year old Rayven Lillian Shields of Afton to the Greater Regional Hospital in Creston.
According to the report, Titus Edmund Stover of Winterset pulled out of the Casey’s Store parking lot and struck a passenger car driven by Shields. Stover told authorities he didn’t see the passenger car when he attempted to turn left out of the parking lot.
