(Greenfield) Adair County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested two Greenfield, Iowa women on September 9, on warrants out of Republic County, Kansas.
The warrant states on June 16, 22-year old Heaven Marie Jordan and 49-year old Melissa Ann Ross were wanted for aggravated robbery, aggravated battery, criminal threat, and promoting the sale of sexual relations. The warrant states that the two allegedly stole cell phones, a PSA game system, and cash belonging to Nicholas Jarett while armed with a pocket knife. The warrant also stated Jarret suffered bodily harm during the incident. Authorities are holding the two women without bond.

*A Stuart woman faces multiple charges, including assault with a dangerous weapon, following September 9 involving her mother at a Stuart apartment complex.
Stuart Police stated 26-year old Elizabeth Jane White of Stuart arrived home allegedly intoxicated and requested her mother leave the apartment. An argument ensued, and White allegedly pushed her mother, grabbed a baseball bat, and started swinging at her. In addition to that, White is accused of grabbing her mother by the hair and dragging her to the ground. The report said a bystander separated the two women and called 9-1-1. Police arrested White on charges of Assault/displaying a dangerous weapon and Public Intoxication. Authorities released White on Saturday on a $2,000 cash bond.
*The Adair County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Winterset woman during a traffic stop early Friday morning. The subject, identified as 30-year old Tarra Ann Jones, faces charges of driving while barred, possession of drug paraphernalia (Meth pipe), and driving with a revoked license. Authorities released Jones on her own recognizance.
*Authorities arrested 34-year old Lindsay Marie Cottrell of Cumberland on September 8 on a Fremont County Warrant for possession of contraband and burglary tools. Officer’s released her on a $25,000 cash-only bond.
* Thirty-nine-year-old Stacy Jean Quakenbush of Lincoln, Nebraska, was arrested on September 8, on an Adair County Warrant for Prescription drug violation/3rd or subsequent offense, and three counts for prohibited acts, and prescription drug violation/2nd offense. Authorities held her on a $16,000 cash-only bond.
*A Des Moines man was arrested for violating his probation. Authorities arrested 31-year old Justin Lee Whipple on September 12th and held him on a $1,000 cash-only bond.
