(Guthrie Co.) An Indianola man was cited following a two-vehicle accident in Guthrie County Saturday.
The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened at the intersection of Chirma Road and Highway 4. Riley Barr, 22, of Indianola, was driving a 2013 Ford F350 on Highway 4 and rear-ended a 2015 GMC Canyon, driven by Matthew Wilson, 33, of Omaha, Nebraska, who was stopped to turn left onto Chirma Road.
Wilson has suspected minor injuries, but was not transported. A 15-year-old male from Prole also had suspected minor injuries, but it is unknown if he was transported to the hospital.
Barr was cited for Failure to Stop at a Safe and Assured Clear Distance and Open Container.
