(Atlantic) The Atlantic Community School District has developed a transfer route to accommodate transporting students to and from the Achievement Center after classes were relocated due to the fire at the Middle School.
Atlantic Superintendent Steve Barber explains…
No students will be allowed to walk or ride a bike to school due to the location of the Achievement Center on Highway 6. Students will enter the Achievement Center using the southwest doors and sit in the multipurpose room until the 7:50 a.m. bell rings. School starts at 8:00 a.m.
Due to safety concerns on Highway 6, no parents will be allowed to pick up students after school at the Achievement Center. Students will be transferred by bus after school and Mr. Rasmussen has sent out a list of locations to parents where they can drop off or pick up their children.
