(Shenandoah) A juvenile was transported to the hospital following a two-vehicle accident in Page County on Wednesday.
The Page County Sheriff’s Office was called to the accident at approximately 12:03 p.m. in the 2000 block of F Avenue approximately four miles east of Shenandoah.
The investigation showed that a 16-year-old from Riverton was operating a 1994 Ford Ranger pickup northbound on F Avenue, a gravel road. The teen slowed to turn into the driveway located at 2037 F Avenue. A 15-year-old from Shenandoah was operating a 1991 Ford Crown Victoria northbound on F Avenue following the Ford Ranger and did not see the Ford Ranger slowing to turn due to the dust from the gravel road. The Ford Crown Victoria struck the rear driver’s side of the Ford Ranger. Both vehicles came to rest in the roadway.
The teen from Shenandoah was cited for Following too Closely. A Juvenile male in the Ford Ranger later complained about pain and was transported to Shenandoah Medical Center by Shenandoah Ambulance Service.
