(Montezuma, IA) — The community gathered in Montezuma on Memorial Day night to pray for 11-year-old Xavior Harrelson. Dozens attended the vigil outside the Poweshiek County Courthouse, hoping that Xavior will return home safely. Harrelson has been missing since Thursday and neighbors; friends are praying that he’s found alive. Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation is leading the search for Xavior. D-C-I officials said they were re-evaluating the information they have to determine the next steps in the search. Residents say they’re eager to volunteer to be part of the effort.
