(Indianola) Former IKM/Manning star and Simpson College junior Kia Rasmussen earned second-team All American Rivers Conference honors in women’s basketball.
The junior averaged 9.8 points per game this season, shot 37.7-percent from behind the three-point line, and 77.8 percent from the free-throw line. Rasmussen follows her second-team all-conference accolade with an honorable mention all-conference award last season. Other honors for Rasmussen include; 2019-2020 team offensive most valuable player award, and Milikin Holiday Classic All-Tournament Team.
