(Creston) A Creston man faces numerous charges in connection with a burglary in Creston.
Creston Police responded to the 300 block of N. Jarvis Street after receiving a call at around 12:39 a.m. this morning from a homeowner reporting someone in her garage. The suspect, identified as 18-year old Chase Parascando, fled north when Officer’s arrived at the scene. Police arrested the suspect at 12:47 a.m. in the 400 block of N. Spruce Street.
Officer’s transported Parascando to the Union County Jail on the following charges:
*Burglary in the 3rd degree from a motor vehicle
*Two counts of Burglary in the 3rd degree from an unoccupied structure
* 5th-degree theft
*Interference with Official Acts
*Possession of a controlled substance 1st offense, (marijuana)
*Possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, (methamphetamine less than 5 grams)
*Possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute; marijuana
*Possession of drug paraphernalia
Parascando is currently in the Union County Jail awaiting a bond hearing. The investigation continues, and more charges are pending.
