Vehicle Pursuit Yields Two Arrests

(Council Bluffs) Two people face theft and drug possession charges stemming from a pursuit ending in Council Bluffs.

Allegedly the suspect stole the vehicle at gunpoint. Omaha Police pursued it into Council Bluffs early this morning. Omaha and Council Bluffs Police deployed tire deflation devices before the chase ended at S. 19^th and 8^th Avenue in Council Bluffs.

Officer’s arrested the driver; Christopher Petri, for 1^st Degree Theft and Eluding. Authorities arrested a passenger, Shaquala Rock, for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
