(Atlantic) Atlantic/CAM Head Wrestling Coach Tim Duff and his staff awarded 15 letters and four Trojan Heads to members of the squad at Monday’s Annual Banquet. Additionally, four members of the Atlantic/CAM girls’ team received varsity letters.
The 2020-2021 Atlantic/CAM team finished the season with an 8-3 Hawkeye Ten Conference Dual record and finished the season with an overall record of 16-6.
The Trojans won the team title at the Joe Fitch Wrestling Tournament and won the Leighton Family Dual Tournament hosted by Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont.
The Trojans finished third in the Hawkeye Ten Conference Wrestling Tournament, sent eight qualifiers to the district tournament, and four to the state tournament, with two of the four earning medals. Ethan Follmann finished fifth in Class 2A at 120 pounds, and Joe Weaver finished fourth at 126.
