(Atlantic) Atlantic and Denison-Schleswig square off for the second time in a girl’s high school basketball game at Denison tonight.
The Monarchs defeated the Trojans 73-49 in the first outing on January 16. Atlantic Head Coach Dan Vargason says the two 6’0 post players beat them. Paige Andersen and Hannah Neeman, accounted for 52 of the Monarchs’ 73 points.
Vargason says the Trojans’ key offensively is to attack the rim and play an inside-outside game.
Andersen leads the Monarchs in scoring averaging 19.2 points per game. Neeman averages 15.5. Haley Rasmussen leads the Trojans in scoring with 20.8 points per game average. Jada Jensen is averaging 10-points per contest.
The tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m. We will have the game on KS95. The pre-game starts at 5:45 p.m.
