(Atlantic) The Atlantic City Council Wednesday night approved the first reading of an ordinance amending Chapter 106 entitled “Collection of Solid Waste”.
This ordinance brings the Solid Waste Collector Permit requirements into alignments with tree trimmers, peddlers, solicitors and transient merchants and also those requirements they have of contractors they hire to do business with the City. Atlantic Mayor Dave Jones…
In other action, the Council approved the third and final reading of an ordinance adopting the proposed amendments to the City of Atlantic Zoning Code. The first change is to bring Deter’s into conformance with the Zoning Ordinance. The second change is to clean up the language in the accessory buildings section.
The Council also approved a Solid Waste Collector License with Cook Sanitation and a Tree Trimmer License with Top Hand Tree Service.
