(Council Bluffs) A Pacific Junction woman was arrested for Eluding and other charges in Pottawattamie County.
The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office says Deputies were advised at 12:33 a.m. on Monday that a vehicle was trying to elude Council Bluffs Police Officers around River Park. A short time later the Deputy arrived on scene and initiated a traffic stop at 35th and Broadway. 40-year-old Suzanne Kay Labastida was charged with Eluding While Exceeding the Speed Limit, Fugitive from Justice, Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Theft 1st – Motor Vehicle Theft over $10,000.
In other activity, Jesse James Jackson, 71, was arrested on December 9th after Deputies responded to the intersection of North 8th and Big Lake Road regarding an intoxicated driver that was stuck on the railroad tracks. Jackson was charged with Operating While Intoxicated 1st Offense.
Angela Mae Jens, 28, was arrested following a traffic stop on December 13th. Jens was charged with Operating While Intoxicated 2nd Offense.
A 17-year-old male was charged with Driving While Barred following a traffic stop on two dirt bikes at Badger and 205th Street on December 7th.
