Mills County Sheriff’s Report

(Mills Co.) A Council Bluffs woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon.

The Mills County Sheriff’s Office says 41-year-old Annie Vorthmann was driving a 2016 Toyota northbound on 284^th Street. Vorthmann stated that she thought she fell asleep and drove off the road. The Toyota left the roadway and jumped over a culvert, coming to rest in the east ditch.

Vorthmann was transported to Mercy by Silver City Rescue.

In other activity, the Mills County Sheriff’s Office reports Dalerie Faye Parde, 33, of Spalding, Nebraska, was arrested September 30^th on a warrant for Violation of Probation. Bond was set at $5,000.

Thomas Lee Chalupa, 54, homeless, was arrested October 1^st on a warrant for two counts of Failure to Appear. Bond was set at $25,000.

David Joseph Walters, 58, of Treynor, was arrested October 5^th on a warrant for Theft 4^th. Bond was set at $1,000.

Alfred Henry Wright, 47, of Council Bluffs, was arrested October 3^rd for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Driving While Barred. Bond was set at $5,000.

Joseph Corey Jack, 41, of Glenwood, was arrested October 3^rd for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond was set at $300.
