Adair County Sheriff’s Report

(Adair Co.) The Adair County Sheriff’s Office reports four arrests and one citation.

Aleatha Sharon Yarrington, 56, of Bridgewater, was arrested September 20^th for Assault. She was released on her own recognizance after her initial appearance.

Christopher Coy Edwin Chaney, 35, of Fontanelle, was arrested September 21^st for Domestic Assault – Bodily Injury. He was held on $1,000 cash or surety bond.

Jeffrey Lee Simpson, 42, of Council Bluffs, was arrested September 23^rd on a warrant out of Johnson County in the state of Kansas charging him with 1^st Offense Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, 1^st Offense Possession of Marijuana and/or THC, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Simpson was held on no bond awaiting extradition to Kansas.

Christopher Dean Harrison, 41, of Greenfield, was arrested September 23^rd for Domestic Assault – Bodily Injury. He was held on $1,000 cash or surety.

James Bernard Block, 40, of Cumberland, was cited and released on September 23^rd for Driving While Barred.
