(Harlan) The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office reports multiple arrests over the past week.
Charlie Raymond Bird, 44, of Hancock, was arrested September 23rd by Pottawattamie County authorities on an active warrant for failure to appear for initial court appearance in Shelby County Magistrate Court. Bird was released on August 29th with a promise to appear and failed to make said appearance. Bird pleaded guilty to the charges, was assessed a fine, and released from jail.
Dale John Kraft, 29, of Bellevue, Nebraska, and Isabella Lucille James, 24, of Omaha, Nebraska, were arrested following a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Highway M16 on September 22nd. Kraft was charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, No Seat Belt, No Proof of Insurance, and a speeding citation. He was held without bond pending an appearance before the magistrate and was later released after posting $5,000 surety bond. James was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was released the following morning on her own recognizance.
Jason Michael Parker, 40, of Avoca, turned himself in on September 21st on an active warrant form an earlier investigation regarding a complaint filed with the Sheriff’s Office. Parker was charged with Domestic Abuse Assault and Attempted Burglary 2nd. He was held on no bond pending an appearance before the magistrate and was released the following day on his own recognizance.
Scott Allen Hall, 45, and Jennifer Ann Hall, 47, both of Belmond, Iowa, were arrested September 21st on active warrants out of Shelby County for Controlled Substance Violation, Failure to Affix Drug Tax Stamp, and Prohibited Acts Penalties. Scott Hall was held on $25,000 cash or surety bond. Jennifer Hall was held on $5,000 cash or surety bond pending future court date.
Alexander Patrick Pederson, 35, of Irwin, was arrested following a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Highway M47 on September 20th. Pederson was charged with Prohibited Acts, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Failure to Maintain Control. He was transported to the jail without incident and held on $3,300 cash or surety bond. Pederson was released the following morning on his own recognizance and given a future court date.
Dustin Allen Delgado, 31, of Irwin, was arrested following a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Highway M47 on September 19th. Delgado was charged with Driving While Barred – Habitual Offender. He was transported to the jail and after an appearance before the Magistrate he was required to post $1,000 cash or surety bond. Delgado was given a future court date and released after posting bond.
Loni Sue Anderson, 54, of Shelby, and James Patrick Heffernan, 50, of Dunlap, were arrested following a traffic stop along County Road M16 and 750th Street on September 17th. Both were arrested for being in violation of a no contact order against each other. Additionally, Heffernan was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both were taken to the jail where Anderson was released the following morning on her own recognizance. Heffernan was held on $5,000 cash or surety bond and on a warrant for failure to serve previous jail time mittimus. He was later released after posting the required cash bond and serving jail time for the previous charge.
Rafael Limon-Mora, 56, of Denison, was arrested on September 17th for Driving While Barred – Habitual Offender. He was held on $2,000 cash or surety bond and was released the following morning on his own recognizance.
Jesse James Bauer, 36, of Fountain, Colorado, was arrested following a traffic stop in the 400 block of Highway M47 on September 17th. Bauer was charged with Prohibited Acts, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and a speeding citation. Bauer was transported to the jail without incident and held on $3,300 cash or surety bond. He was released on his own recognizance the following morning.
