Atlantic, 3rd, Creston, 4th, and Nodaway 7th, in Ballard Girl’s Class B Division Cross Country Meet

(Ballard-Huxley) Atlantic placed two runners in the top ten and finished third with 84-points in the Girl’s B Division at the 40^th Annual Ballard Cross Country meet on Monday. Solon placed three runners in the top ten and won the meet team title with 46-points. Roland-Story finished second with 69.

Taylor McCreedy led the Trojans with a fourth-place finish in a time of 20:59.8. Ava Rush toured the course in a time of 21.50.7 and finished the race in 10^th place. Claire Pellett was 16^th,  22.48.40, Madison Botos, 24^th, 23.43.80, and Addie DeArment rounded out the team score in 30^th place with a time of 24.19.80. Faith Altman was 39^th, 25.31.40, and Grace Irlmeier, 42^nd, in a time of 26.00.02.

Creston finished fourth with 108-points led by Braelyn Baker’s second-place finish in a time of 20.28.90. Paige Davis was 18^th, Morgan Buxton, 28^th, Riley DeGonnia, 29^th, and Carly Green, 31^st. Autumn Stafford was 41^st, and Zoe Ralston, 44^th.

Nodaway Valley finished 7^th in the nine-team field with 147 points. Sophia Broers led the Wolverines with a 12^th place finish, Erin Ford, 26^th, and Abby Engels,34^th, and Lily Day rounded out the team score with a 35^th place finish. Annika Nelson finished 40^th and Hope Kading, 59^th.
