(Woodbine, IA) — The regular season will end for the #3 ranked Woodbine football team this week as they visit Boyer Valley. Even though the Tigers have blown up the scoreboard, all things have not been rosy for the team. Head Coach Dustin Crook says they have had some injuries to key players — All State RB Micah Moores has not played since Week Three and All -State WR Landon Blum has been slowed by injuries and there have been a few others as well. Crook says other guys have stepped into those roles
Blum — who has committed to playing football at Penn St. — has still had a big season with 32 receptions for 626 yards and 11 TD. Crook says the injury has limited him to only playing offense
Boyer Valley will be the challenge this week — the Bulldogs are led by Senior QB Brody Koski who has thrown for 566 yards, 10 TD, 1 INT and run for 509 yards and 5 more scores
Woodbine is 6-0; Boyer Valley is 5-1.
