(Des Moines, IA) — The candidates running for Iowa’s open U.S. Senate seat met up in their first debate Wednesday night. Republican Congresswoman Ashley Hinson and Democratic state Representative Josh Turek sparred over several topics, including their voting records.
Turek said he’s done plenty of bipartisan work on bills that help Iowans and added that Hinson missed plenty of votes in the U.S. House.
