(Coon Rapids, IA) — Two top level Rolling Valley Volleyball teams battle tonight as Exira EHK visits Coon Rapids Bayard, coverage on KSOM.
The Spartans are 5-5 and 1-1 in the conference and coming off a three set loss to CAM. Senior Taryn Petersen leads the team in kills with 130. Head Coach Derek Reischauer would like to see somebody else step up to support T.P. on offense
Reischauer says it has been a roller coaster ride in areas one of which is serving — the Spartans have a lot of aces but he says the percentage is not consistent
Coon Rapids Bayard is 5-2 and 1-0 in the conference — a three set win over Paton Churdan. The Crusaders are led by Junior Adalynn Spangler with 63 Kills and Junior Amelia Clark with 122 Assists. Exira EHK only has one senior and CRB has two seniors and Reischauer says they have re loaded
