(Atlantic, IA) — A new report finds Iowa’s Atlantic Coca-Cola Bottling Company contributed hundreds of millions of dollars to Iowa’s economy last year. Coca-Cola’s new U.S. Economic and Community Impact Report finds that Atlantic Bottling contributed $753 million to Iowa’s economy in 2025. Atlantic Bottling is one of 61 independent Coca-Cola bottlers in the U.S. The company operates 10 facilities across five states, employs more than 800 people, and serves about 725 communities.
The company has invested more than $40 million over the past three years to modernize its Atlantic facility and other operations. The Atlantic plant can produce up to one million canned beverages a day.
Coca-Cola’s four Iowa bottlers collectively purchased $87 million in goods and services from Iowa suppliers last year, supported about 1,000 direct jobs, and contributed approximately $1 million to Iowa community programs.
Nationally, the Coca-Cola system contributed $85 billion to the U.S. economy and supported nearly one million jobs in 2025.
Atlantic Coca-Cola Bottling is also a lead sponsor of this year’s Coca-Cola Days in Atlantic, scheduled for September 25th and 26th.
