(Sioux City) The Atlantic softball team finished the 2026 regular season schedule with a lot of momentum heading into the Class 3A Regionals, which start on Thursday night.
The Trojans dominated Sioux City East in a doubleheader at Sioux City last night. The Trojans won the first game 14-3. Peyton McLaren picked up the win in the circle, allowing three runs on six hits, five strikeouts, and just one walk in four innings of work.

The Trojans kept the bats alive in the nightcap with an 18-2 win over the Red Raiders. Brynn Lamp picked up the win for the Trojans in the circle, allowing 2 runs on three hits, with three strikeouts, and only one walk. The Trojans scored two runs in the first inning, three in the fifth, one run in the sixth, and exploded for 12 runs in the top of the seventh.
