(Woodbine, IA) — The Atlantic Girls Track and Field team won the Phil Hummel Relays at Woodbine on Thursday night. The Trojans finished just two points ahead of Treynor — 144 to 142.
Stellah Van Aernam won the 100 meter dash (12.71); Lila Wiederstein won the 400 with a season PR of 1:03.57; the Trojans won the 4×100 at 50.16 with Wiederstein, Jayci Reed, Allison Middents and Van Aernam on anchor. The Shuttle Hurdle won with a time of 1:11.51 (Aiza Jones, Emerie Jones, Adler Bruce, Jayci Reed)
The Distance Medley team finished in third but had a season PR of 4:38.92 with Abigail Andersen, Middents, Braeleigh Hass, and Ximena Mendez-Cordero.
Braeleigh Hass was 2nd in the 200 meter dash with a season PR by almost a second at 27.05. Jayci Reed was 2nd in the 100 Hurdles (15.91); Adler Bruce was 2nd in the 400 Hurdles (1:13.86); Katrina Williams 3rd in the 400 Hurdles (1:14.46); Emerie Jones was 2nd in the Long Jump (15-01.50); Olivia Olson was 2nd in the Shot Put (32-07.50) and 5th in the Discus (92-10); Faith Larsen was 4th in the Discus (96-09) and 5th in the Shot Put (29-08.50)
