(Harlan, IA) — The Harlan Boys Track and Field team is young this year and Head Coach Sam Brummer says they are still working on some things as they near the district meet on May 14. Juniors Jeffrey Gross and Erik Heslink have been some of the highlights so far in the long distance races but Brummer says they have been slowed a little by injuries
There are only two seniors on the Cyclones this year — Hagen Sorensen and Ayden Redmon and Brummer says they have helped with their leadership. He says there are others that stepped to the forefront including Cade Nelson
Harlan has just three meets before districts so Brummer says they have to set line ups for their relays and they have 8 or 9 guys he is looking at
Next up for the Cyclones is the Underwood Co Ed Meet on Thursday.
