(Pottawattamie Co.) The Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors signed a proclamation on Tuesday designating this week (April 19-25) as National Library Week.
The proclamation states that libraries spark creativity, fuel imagination, and aspire lifelong learning, offering a space for individuals of all ages to find joy through exploration and discovery. Libraries serve as vibrant community hubs connecting people with knowledge, technology and resources, while fostering civic engagement, critical thinking and cultural enrichment.
