(Atlantic) Vision Atlantic opened the Camblin Hills housing development site to the public on Sunday afternoon, drawing a large crowd. Streets throughout the area were filled with onlookers, and cars lined the roadways. Vision Atlantic Board Secretary Melissa Ihnen summed up her reaction to the turnout in one word: “Wow.”
During the open house, Vision Atlantic showcased three of the five planned single-family home floor plans. The homes on display—known as the Kirsten, Conway, and Willett designs—are located at 1804, 1806, and 1808 Camblin Drive. Visitors were also able to tour several of Vision Atlantic’s tiny homes, which are currently being used as short-term rental units. Board members were stationed in each home to answer questions and provide additional details about the development.
The project continues to move forward, with two more homes at 1801 and 1802 expected to be completed soon. Ihnen said the goal is to have those homes ready for sale by May 1.
In total, 48 units are planned for construction this year. The development will include three different condominium options, offering both two-bedroom and three-bedroom layouts. Each unit will feature a two-car garage, larger floor plans than typical condos, and single-level living. According to Ihnen, the condominiums will be open for public viewing in the near future.
