(Van Meter, IA) — AC/GC and West Central Valley competed at the Van Meter Co Ed Meet on Monday night.
Brexton Schneider won the 110 Hurdles for the Chargers with a time of 15.29 seconds which was just off his best time of the season. Schneider was also part of the Shuttle Hurdle relay that won with a time of 1:04.00 with Morgun Nolte, Tommy Skram and Collin Stringham. AC/GC’s Sprint Medley won with a season best time of 1:38.06 with Joe Crawford, Schneider, Will Skram and Talon Noland. The 4×200 team finished 2nd with Joe Crawford, Tommy Skram, Talon Noland and Ryan Martens at 1:34.26 which is a season PR.
Preston Kent was 2nd in the 1600 (5:01.31) and 3rd in the 3200 (10:37.46). Morgun Nolte was 3rd in the 110 Hurdles (16.89).
The Charger girls were 2nd in the Distance Medley relay with Meranda Gruber, Blair Brown, Cadence Petersen and Brooklyn Schafer with a time of 4:53.73. Nora Langaard was 3rd in the Long Jump (14-04)
For the Wildcats, Willow Ray won the High Jump at 5-00; Ella Belden was 3rd in the 200 (28.92); and Mason Fuller was 3rd in the 400 (53.59).
