(Adams Co.) A Lamoni man was arrested following a traffic stop in Adams County.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office says on December 24, at approximately 2:26 am, Deputies conducted a traffic stop at Highway 34 & Mulberry Avenue. Upon further investigation, 44-year-old Adriane Contreras was arrested and charged with Operating While Intoxicated-1st Offense, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Contraband within a Correctional Facility.
In other activity, on December 25, Adams County Deputies arrested 45-year-old Raul Rangel, of Creston, on an active Adams County Arrest Warrant for Failure to Appear.
Any potential criminal charges identified above are merely allegations and any defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
