(Adair Co.) An Atlantic man was arrested on drug charges in Adair County.
The Adair County Sheriff’s Office says 46-year-old Shawn Glen Wolverton was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) 3rd or Subsequent and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Wolverton was arrested after Deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of Pinewood Avenue in rural Adair County on November 22nd for an unresponsive male in a vehicle in the middle of the road.
The Adair County Sheriff’s Office also reports 31-year-old Samantha Marie Delong, of Orient, was cited and released on November 16th for OWI 1st Offense. Delong was charged after a vehicle she was operating was located in the ditch along the intersection of Highway 92 and Stuart Road.
