(Fort Dodge, IA) — Lilli Denton has finished her cross country career at St. Albert undefeated — the Senior made it back-to-back state titles on Saturday and set a new meet record in the process. Denton immediately set the pace and pretty much led start to finish with a time of 17:56.6. Chloe Glosser of Pekin was 31 seconds behind in 2nd place. Amanda Smith of Earlham got on the deck in 14th place at 19:41.8.
Allysen Johnson of Logan Magnolia was 23rd (20:00.7); Reese Dittmer had the best finish for Tri Center in 46th (20:42.9); Cadence Petersen of AC/GC was 89th (21:50.8). There were 158 runners in the field.
South Winneshiek won the team title with 125 points, Sumner Fredericksburg was 2nd at 136 and Hudson finished 3rd at 143. Earlham was 4th at 148. Tri Center finished 11th with 228 points — there were 16 total teams.
