(Red Oak) A Page County woman died in a single-vehicle accident in Montgomery County.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, 28-year-old Alexis Ramsdell, of Shenandoah, was transported to the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
Authorities say the single-vehicle accident happened on Thursday night around 10:40 p.m. in the 2700 block of Highway 48. Deputies located a 2015 Dodge Journey SUV with severe damage. The lone occupant in the vehicle, Alexis Ramsdell, was found outside the SUV. It was determined Ramsdell was not wearing a seatbelt, and was speeding, and as a result was ejected from the SUV.
Other agencies assisting were the Montgomery County Communications Center, Red Oak Police Department, Red Oak Fire and Rescue, Montgomery County EMA, and the Page County Sheriff’s Office.
