(Washington, DC) — Social Security benefits will see an increase next year.
The Social Security Administration announced both Social Security and Supplemental Security Income will receive a cost-of-living adjustment of two-point-eight-percent. That means Social Security retirement benefits will go up by an average of around 56-dollars per month beginning in January.
The increase is in line with what was expected by analysts. The adjustment for 2025 was two-and-a-half-percent.
