(Cedar Rapids) One person suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Tama County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened on Thursday afternoon on westbound Highway 30 and Highway T47. Authorities say Air Care transported 29-year-old Richard M. Magoon, of Cedar Rapids, to the University of Iowa Hospital Health Care.
According to the report, a 2001 Kenworth dump truck and pup trailer hauling gravel, turned onto Highway 30 from C Avenue, and was building up speed, when it was rear-ended by a 2017 Ram pickup driven by Magoon.
