(Creston, IA) — A federal court is ruling in favor of an Iowa teacher who made social media posts concerning slain political commentator Charlie Kirk. The judge recently issued a temporary restraining order against the Creston Community School District, which put Melisa Crook on leave and said she could face termination. The order prevented the district from holding an employment hearing for Crook yesterday. Crook posted the comment on her personal Facebook while off the clock, calling Kirk a “terrible human being” the day he was shot and killed last month.
