(Guthrie Center, IA) — AC/GC had a little slow start but they have recovered to get over 20 wins for the third straight season. The Chargers host AHSTW in Class 2A, Region 4 tonight. Junior Stella Largent is having a monster season with 479 kills which ranks third in the entire state and also ranks 2nd in kill attempts. Camdyn Richter compliments Largent with 245 kills on the other side. Becca Littler has improved into her new role this season at setter with 706 assists. Serving is a strength for AC/GC with 205 total aces led by Littler with 55, Largent 44, and Richter with 43
AC/GC beat AHSTW in the Griswold tournament on September 13 — the Lady Vikes are led by Addison Carroll with 196 kills and Kennedy Wyman with 135 kills. Vaughn says they are a scrappy team
AHSTW is 8-26, AC/GC is 23-11, game time Wednesday is at 7 pm, the winner will meet either Woodward Granger of Nodaway Valley in the Regional Semifinals.
