(Audubon, IA) — Audubon will begin their volleyball playoffs tonight as they host Heartland Christian, coverage on KS 95.
Wheelers Head Coach Molly Lange is confident about her team going into tonight’s match against the Eagles
Audubon was just 8-22 last year but has 14 wins this season so far and the team has been more consistent
Audubon is led by Senior Harlow Miller with 378 kills and 31 blocks. Lange says she is an essential piece
Senior Abby Wanser has been battling injuries all season and her status for tonight’s game is still unknown
Heartland Christian is led by Sophomore Kaylen Hanson with 48 kills — as a team they have 222 kills which does not match Miller’s hitting total. Freshman Alyssa Fleming has 138 assists. Sophomore Emmaleigh Allen has 123 digs and Freshman Sierra Shuster has 122 digs, plus Shuster leads the team with 40 aces.
The Eagles are 1-25, Audubon 14-17, game time is at 7 pm, coverage on KS 95.7 FM.
