For the first time this season, Atlantic has made it into the Top Ten of the Radio Iowa High School Football poll. The Trojans are ranked 9th and the Carroll Tigers are ranked 10th — the two teams will play one another for the district title this Friday, coverage on KS 95.
The top two teams in Class 5A from last week — Waukee Northwest and Valley — both lost on Friday so Dowling assumes the #1 spot with Iowa City Liberty #2.
Riverside fell out of the top ten in Class A after losing to AC/GC.
