(Atlantic) Meredith Communications KSOM/KS95.7 hosted a candidate forum on Sunday evening featuring the four individuals running for two seats on the Atlantic Community School District’s Board of Directors. The event also included the three city council candidates and the Mayoral candidate, all of whom are running unopposed.
The forum began with the candidates for the City Council. The candidates included Jim Behrens, the 2nd Ward Representative, and Dana Halder, the 5th Ward Representative, both of whom are incumbents seeking re-election. Additionally, Jeremy Butler, an at-large candidate currently serving by appointment, and Mayoral candidate Rob Clausen participated in the forum.
The school board candidates are Justin Williams, Jordan Zarbano, Chet Meneely, and the incumbent, Josh McLaren, who is seeking re-election. The forum can be viewed in the live stream linked below.
