(Atlantic) Republican candidate for Governor Adam Steen made a campaign stop in Atlantic Friday evening.
Steen said he decided to run for Governor to preserve and protect the culture of the state of Iowa.
Steen said the governor is the CEO of the state and that a good CEO must be able to do three things. The first is the ability to operate the state.
Steen said the second thing a CEO needs to be is a champion for culture across the state.
Third, is understanding the policy and working with the legislature to make sure the policy fits the culture of the state.
Eminent domain and property tax reform are just a few of the policies Steen would focus on.
Adam Steen is originally from Indianola, Iowa. He and his wife, Kasey, along with their two boys, Ryker and Maverick, currently reside in Runnels, Iowa.
