(Red Oak) The Montgomery County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing later this month on a proposed Floodplain Management Ordinance.
The hearing is scheduled for 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025, in the Board Room of the Montgomery County Courthouse, 105 E. Coolbaugh Street in Red Oak.
During the meeting, residents will have the opportunity to share written or oral comments on the ordinance before the board considers possible action.
The proposed ordinance can be reviewed in advance at the County Auditor’s Office or online at www.montgomerycountyia.gov. Written comments must be submitted to the Auditor’s Office at 105 E. Coolbaugh St., Red Oak, or emailed to auditor@montgomerycountyia.gov by 8 a.m. on Oct. 21.
