(Elk Horn, IA) — Exira EHK got a huge Homecoming victory last Friday 70-32 over Griswold. With a 2-3 record, the Spartans are back in the playoff hunt. Bryce Brabham 2 rushes for 2 TD and had catches for 88 yards and 2 more scores. Allen Olson had 9 carries for 98 yards and 3 TD. Josten Kilworth had 13 carries for 108 yards but the biggest play of the game might have come when Kilworth returned a kickoff 56 yards for a TD. Exira EHK had given up two kickoff returns for scores and Head Coach Drew Buckholdt says it was finally nice to get one of their own
Buckholdt said last week that he was going to make some changes on offense and he did — Kilworth moved to quarterback and Brabham moved to a wing that went in motion a lot and got handoffs on the end around with Olson being used as a regular running back.
Gus Greving was named Homecoming King for Exira EHK and he made some royal plays on defense with 3.5 TFLs. Not bad for a guy who has moved around to different positions
Exira EHK will visit CAM this Friday night.
