Work release escape of Jamar Jackson

(Des Moines) Jamar Jackson, convicted of Burglary 1st Degree and Robbery 2nd Degree in Polk County, failed to report back to the Fort Des Moines – Bldg. 68 as required on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025.

Jackson is a 39-year-old, 5’9″, 230-pound Black male. He was admitted to the work release facility on July 29, 2025.

Persons with information on Jackson’s whereabouts should contact local police.
