Teen Killed in Motorcycle Crash Near Pilot Grove, Iowa”

(Pilot Grove) The Iowa State Patrol is investigating a motorcycle crash that killed a Farmington, Iowa teen.

Authorities say sometime early this (Saturday) morning 18-year-old Lucas Timothy Johnson was operating a 1983 Yamaha Motorcycle westbound on county road 103 east of Pilot Grove. Johnson lost control on a curve, entered the north ditch, and struck a utility pole. Johnson was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Schmidt Family Funeral Home transported Lucas Johnson to the State Medical Examiner.
